My name is David Brown and sports broadcasting is my passion! I started my career in local TV news, but play-by-play is infinitely more fun! Over the last ten years, I’ve been fortunate enough to provide commentary for hundreds of live sporting events and work with some incredibly talented and driven people. I take a tremendous amount of pride in my craft and I hope that’s reflected in my work!
My Story
I grew up in Burnsville, Minnesota and attended Apple Valley High School where I was captain of the speech & debate team. I graduated from the University of Minnesota in 2008 with a double major in broadcast journalism and political science.
Since graduation, I’ve worked in Sioux Falls, South Dakota in local television news and for a regional sports network that covers the Dakotas and Minnesota. I currently serve the area as a freelance broadcaster and am open to any and all opportunities!
